Refund policy

We want you to live with your JANUS pair, not settle for it. If something isn't right, here's how returns work.

Return window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return.

Condition

To be eligible, items must be unworn and undamaged, in the same condition you received them, returned in their original case and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt). Sunglasses returned scratched, worn, or without their case can't be accepted.

How to start a return

Email us at jakehsjjang@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for return. We'll reply with return instructions and the return address. Please don't send items back before receiving confirmation, as returns sent without prior contact may not be processed.

Return shipping

Unless your item arrived faulty or incorrect, you're responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend a tracked service; we can't be responsible for items lost in return transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know if it's approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the piece you want.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your pair arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund, including any shipping costs, at no charge to you.

Non-returnable

Gift cards are not returnable.

A note on price

JANUS doesn't run sales or discounts. The price is the price. This does not affect your right to a refund or replacement for faulty goods.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or any consumer-protection laws that apply where you live.
